Salmon Idaho

It’s still nice and warm for November but what having a light snow.

Now watching the smoke “mushroom cloud” standing on the bridge at Pine Creek, winds picking up and it’s blowing sky high.

MUSTANG FIRE UPDATE – The Spring Creek evacuation order has been lifted and residents are being allowed back to their homes. It is rumored that all houses were saved, except Heidi’s water pump house. Indian Creek is still in a state of evacuation primarily due to the intensity remaining in Indian Creek. PRE-EVACUATION notice has been given to all living in the Gibbonsville to North Fork Corridor. Predicted weather conditions could cause the fire to make a substantial run over the next 24 – 36 hours.

Driving through North Fork a quick view of the giant fire camp assembled in the field. Be careful driving. There is a lot of traffic.

The smoke has cleared and we are having a beautiful summer day here in Salmon. Fresh air, blue sky’s, and great. Idea.

Honoring all the volunteers in Salmon they mentioned that there are a thousand volunteers witch is pretty good in a town of 3,000!

Bicycles are not allowed on Salmon sidewalks, and now some very bright reminders are posted at the intersections on Main St.

Light smoke in Salmon but the air isn’t too bad.
